Praiseworthy is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support creators in the production and performance of exceptional music, live entertainment, film, television, and media that inspire, uplift, and unite. We champion works that embody the highest standards of integrity, creativity, and inspiration through purposeful design and meaningful storytelling. Our purpose is to enable the creation and expansion of entertainment that exemplifies the essence of praiseworthy—content that upholds moral excellence, evokes a profound sense of wonder, and encourages audiences to aspire toward their best selves. By empowering creators who share this vision, we strive to increase the presence of praiseworthy productions, enriching lives and cultivating meaningful and transformative entertainment.

It is Well: The Musical brings to life the incredible, true, and often heartbreaking story of Horatio Spafford, writer of the lyrics to one of the Christiandom's most beloved hymns, It is Well With My Soul. In Job-like fashion, Horatio and his wife, Anna, suffered a lion's share of personal tragedies. Together they faced what could only seem like a never-ending storm of doubt and despair, leaving the couple at their wit's end, desperately trying to find answers on how to continue.
Their story is one of courage, of redemption; it is powerful, inspirational, and almost unbelievable.
